Christmas looks different this year for Maria and her three young children. There are no stockings or garland - but there is safety.
After years of abuse, Maria called Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter crisis line and, with support from an advocate, created an escape plan. She left with only a few belongings and her children's favorite toys, and stepped into a future free from fear.
Today, they are safe, healing and rebuilding their lives with hope.
Last year, 260 survivors and their children found refuge at Harbor House. Your generosity makes stories like Maria's possible.
